In the lobby bar you will find a lovely selection of well-known cocktails, but with a twist. Kong Arthur’s bar uses the very best spirits, tonic, berries, spices, etc. All ingredients are carefully selected. We base most cocktails on local or Nordic spirits. Some ingredients are sourced from far away – if that is what it takes to find the best product – and most are organic. Of course, we also offer wine and beer. We serve beer from our local microbrewery, Nørrebro Bryghus, which is located within walking distance, just on the other side of the lakes. If you have the time, make sure to visit the brewery on Ravnsborggade.
Have you heard about Original Beans? We’re delighted to have found them. They produce the best cocoa based on rare cocoa varieties and sourced from small plantations. We work closely with Mark Hermann, former pastry chef at Danish Michelin restaurants Geranium and Søllerød Kro, who makes the best chocolates and a chocolate milk that is to die for. Something salty, something crispy and something umami is the perfect accompaniment to a nice cocktail, beer or wine. So of course, this is what we offer our guests in the bar. Ask for a snack plate, which includes French olives, rye bread, beer sausages and more.
Every couple of weeks or so, we host a live jazz session at Hotel Kong Arthur. It usually starts at 5:30 p.m. and lasts for about an hour. The performers are generally new additions to the Copenhagen jazz scene. Drop by for a drink, and relax and let your mind wander for an hour. See our event calender »
