In the lobby bar you can get the best of the good cocktails, but in a slightly different version. Kong Arthur’s bar uses the very best spirits, tonic, berries, spices, etc. All ingredients are chosen carefully. We base most cocktails on local or Nordic spirits. Some ingredients are obtained from far away – if necessary to find the best product – and most are organic. Of course we also offer wine and beer. The beer is from our local microbrewery, Nørrebro Bryghus, which is located within a walking distance, on the other side of the lakes. If you have the time, don’t hesitate to pop by in Ravnsborggade and see the brewery.
We have made our “julegløgg” strong and hot with cranberries soaked in grape brandy from Den Ny Spritfabrik by Esrum Lake in North Zealand and hot apple juice, cold pressed from organic apples. We have also added a mixture of Danish fruitbrandys and a little Angustora bitter. Enjoy the Christmas punch outdoors or by the fireplace!
In our mind, you need something salty, something crispy and a something umami-tasting together with liquor. So of course, this is what we will offer our guests while they enjoys a drink or a beer at the bar. Ask for a snack plate, and you will good French olives, rye bread, beer sausages among other things.
Occasionally, or mostly every 14 days we have a music event, a live jazz session at Hotel Kong Arthur. It’s almost always at 5.30pm and a little hour ahead. Often the music is performed by some of the new Copenhagen jazz musicians. The music offers a relieving hour while you may enjoy a drink and let your mind wander. See the event calender »
