The Ship is the title of Nikolaj Kunsthal’s new venture for both children and adults. It is created by visual artist Eske Kath and musician Nanna Fabricius Øland aka Oh Land. Every year, Copenhagen Blues Festival presents an abundance of great international and homegrown blues music all over Copenhagen. The line-up is a fine balance between traditional and new expressions of the Blues as a multi-facetted genre, between seasoned veterans and young, future stars, and between the accustomed and the unexpected. We have Copenhagen’s new food market nearby, only 5 minuts by food. You really must go there for a pleasant view of nice foodstuff, or to have a snack. Very often there are small festivals during the weekends. Visit also the small food marked in the meetpacking district, where you at weekends can find various kinds of street food.
At Jazzhouse in Niels Hemmingsensgade by the church, Helligaandskirken, you can experience a wealth of concerts with the focus on jazz, but also other genres are represented.
