Air-condition: We don’t have air-condition. Ibsens Hotel is located in a classic Copenhagen building from the 19th century, and it’s difficult to install air-condition without ravaging the building’s beautiful architecture. But first and foremost, the need for air-conditioning is insignificant as our summers are mostly chilly. On average we have 10 hot summer days, and accordingly only a few hotels in Scandinavia have air-conditioning installed. Finally, we also think of the environmental impact of the huge energy consumption caused by air-condition.
